I am Olga Likhachevskaya

Co-Founder of Deepdee

Deepdee has developed an artificial intelligence platform for early stage diagnosis for eye diseases. Together with her fellow co-founders and a background in Ophthalmology, Olga Likhachevskaya acknowledges that the approximately 500 millions diabetic patients around the world have an extremely high risk (8-42%) of eye complication called Diabetic Retinopathy. Regular screening of retina is the only way of preventing the complication, but is extremely costly. Deepdee has developed the world’s first hardware independent software solution for qualified medical diagnosing of eye diseases, which almost instantly diagnoses most eye diseases through image processing. Images of the eye can be uploaded through the website or by integrating the AI powered software in stationary fundus cameras, portable fundus cameras, hospital medical systems or mobile phones with special optical accessories making it less expensive and much easier to screen.
